Rally raises $11M to supercharge the future of user research

We’re excited to share some big news: Rally has raised an $11 million Series A investment, led by Canapi Ventures, bringing our total funding to just under $20 million. (Read the official press release here.)  

Rally was founded on a simple but powerful belief that great products start with great user research. And great research starts with talking directly to the people who matter most: your users. They’re the real experts, offering insights grounded in lived experience. When you skip this step, you’re building on assumptions. But when you engage users early and often, you build smarter, faster, and better.

Since our last funding round, we’ve seen a powerful shift. Research is no longer just the domain of specialized teams—it’s becoming a team sport. Designers, PMs, and other departments in the organization are stepping up as active contributors to research. But one challenge keeps coming up again and again: “We want to talk to our users more but it’s just too hard.

That’s why Rally exists. We take the logistical headaches of things like scheduling, managing participants, and handling incentives.   • Welcomed several household-name enterprises to the platform: Expanded our footprint in large-scale organizations such as Adobe, Sonos, MongoDB, GitLab, BILL, Monzo Bank, and more.
  • Hosted dozens of live AMAs, community panels, and research leadership dinners: Fostered a vibrant community of UX researchers and product leaders.
